ABOUT

Hi, I'm Patrick.

I build functional software on Tysnes, and give talks about the road there.

I'm a software developer at heart, a so-called «vibe coder», but I also speak, hence the open-ended «adventure» in the name. I build tools that solve very concrete everyday problems for smaller businesses, clubs and organisations: board portal, rental module, staff scheduling.

My background is a mix: years in the restaurant industry, board roles in clubs and organisations, and a deep interest in IT. That combination is why what I build actually holds up in daily use: it's made in a real day, not on a blank page.

How I work

Practical first

I build for the actual problem, not the feature list.

Proven in use

It has to hold when it counts, tested in a busy day.

Affordable

Proper software at a price small businesses can carry.

Local and close

You talk to the person who built it. Same-day replies on weekdays.

A note on the pixels

During the pandemic I spent a good while learning pixel art, and I'm a big fan of Nintendo's 8- and 16-bit era. That's why the design of this site is inspired by pixel art. The graphics here are drawn in code, not by my hand, but the love of the pixels is real.
